I was a fan of the original Boom and am very excited about this update. It is not only a technical update in the backend programming, but it is also a very visual representation of what Boom 2 does for your audio. You can see the equalizer and move the different digital levels up and down manually. The design of the app flows seamlessly with Yosemite. It has a beautiful transparent background that really makes it modern.

One thing to note is that there is an audio component that must be downloaded to get the most from your Boom 2 experience. Boom 2 requires the latest version of Mac OS X Yosemite. Mac users running OS X 10.9 or 10.9, can download Boom v1.9.2 from the Mac App Store. It’s still a quality product, just not quite as advanced as Boom 2.
